Comic Info: I'll try to keep this short... I don't want to dwell on things too much. It's not always easy to be a cartoonist. To be honest, I thought and rethought over and over what I was going to do for my September 11th comic. Do I pay tribute and do an unusually serious comic for once? Do I mention the attacks directly in the comic, or do I simply not bring it up? Do I bring my comic strip to a grinding halt to pay tribute, or continue as normal? Well, after giving it plenty of thought, I decided to go with this idea. I don't intend this to be disrespectful or anything... believe me, the attack last year certainly affected me. But the way I see it, this comic is meant to be a form of entertainment... that's why you're here, right? It will be hard to go through today as usual with all the media coverage of the anniversary, with tributes likely to pop up in everywhere. But if, in some way, I can help bring a smile to your face today, then my job is done. This is how I want to pay tribute today.
